Privacy Policy
This policy applies to Chill Adventure Labs apps and services, including SnorkelReady. We collect only data needed to provide app functionality, support users, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data.
How we collect data:
- Directly from user input (for example, account/support details you submit)
- From app/device diagnostics generated during app usage
- From feature permissions you approve (for example, location)
Data we may process:
- Account and contact information you provide
- App usage and diagnostics data
- Feature-specific permission data (for example, location)
Sensitive permissions, including location, are requested only when needed for a feature. You can decline or revoke permissions in device settings at any time.
How we use data:
- Deliver app features and user support
- Investigate bugs and improve product quality
- Meet legal and security obligations
- Never build or sell third-party advertising/data-broker profiles
Data sharing:
- Service providers used for infrastructure, analytics, or support as needed to operate the app
- Third-party platform APIs only when users authorize integration features
- Legal disclosures only when required by law
Any third party with access to user data is required to provide the same or equal protection of user data as described in this policy.
For Garmin-enabled features, information submitted through the integration is submitted to Chill Adventure Labs (the app developer), not Garmin. Garmin is not responsible for our use, disclosure, or protection of that information.
We access third-party API data only with your express consent and only to provide the feature you requested. We do not sell, rent, or transfer third-party integration data except as needed to operate the requested feature or when required by law.
Retention and controls:
- We retain personal data only for as long as needed for operational, legal, and security purposes
- Users can request deletion at chilladventurelabs.com/data-deletion/
- Users can withdraw consent by changing app permissions in device settings and by contacting us directly
- Users can revoke third-party integration access from connected-provider settings when supported
- When integration consent is revoked, we stop using that integration data and delete it according to legal and security requirements
